It happed rarely, but I asked my friends and they said it didn't seem like a big deal. So I just ignored it. Until recently. If you're game to crack it open, I recommend either a tarkan iFlash card or an SD/CF upgrade. If this is a 120gb originally, it'll only read 120gb of memory - replace with a 128gb flash card, and you'll have essentially the same iPod only lighter weight and more durable.
